Empowering Starcrest Communications’ Transformation with AI Readiness Assessment

Client
Overview

Starcrest Communications is a full-service (360°) agency based in Pakistan, with over 18 years of experience in strategic media planning, creative execution, digital marketing, UI/UX design, content, production, and public relations.

With a team of ~60 professionals and a portfolio of ~50 brands, Starcrest aims to differentiate itself in a competitive market by embedding AI-driven insights into its creative and execution processes.

Starcrest’s leadership approached us to evaluate how AI could elevate their strategy, campaign effectiveness, operational efficiency, and client services and to develop a roadmap for AI adoption aligned with their brand promise: “Turning Products Into Brands That Sell.”

Challenges

Though Starcrest is digitally mature in many respects, they faced several obstacles in realizing AI-driven transformation:

  • Siloed Data & Analytics: Performance data was fragmented across campaign tools (social, media, web analytics), CRM systems, and production workflows.
  • Limited AI Strategy Awareness: Creative and client teams had minimal exposure to how AI could augment ideation, targeting, optimization, or content generation.
  • Operational Bottlenecks: Manual tasks e.g. media planning adjustments, budget rebalancing, reporting, campaign variance analysis consumed significant time.
  • Creative Risk Aversion: Concerns over creative originality and brand voice in AI-augmented outputs impeded experimentation.
  • Lack of Governance & Roles: No formal structure existed for approving AI use cases, monitoring model performance, or managing risks (e.g. data privacy, bias, misuse).

Starcrest needed a structured readiness assessment to map where they stand, what gaps to address, and how to pragmatically start embedding AI into their service pipeline.

Solution

We conducted a comprehensive AI Readiness Assessment across Starcrest Communications, structured around the four pillars: People, Process, Technology, and Data.

  1. Automated media budget reallocation (real-time)
  2. Content generation assistance (headlines, visual prompts)
  3. Audience segmentation using predictive modeling
  4. Creative asset performance prediction
